ABOUT PAULINE PISANO

Pauline Pisano is an award-winning singer-songwriter, vocalist, multimedia producer, and organizer whose work bridges art and social justice. She currently serves as the Director of Creative Communications and Production at The Kairos Center for Religions, Rights and Social Justice and is a founding member of Songs in the Key Of Resistance, a cross-movement project uniting artists, organizers, faith leaders, and community members through song.

A two-time Joshua Awards nominee for Outstanding Female Vocalist, Pauline has received numerous artistic honors, including Best Song at the Twin River Media Festival and an artist residency at The Byrdcliffe Arts Colony in 2020, where she facilitated conversations on the role of artists during times of crisis.

Alongside her artistic work, Pauline is a dedicated social worker and advocate. Her work has included launching a national debt advocacy and music tour, supporting survivors of violence through the Domestic and Other Violence Emergencies (DOVE) Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and co-facilitating the Arts and Culture Committee for the NYS Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival from 2019–2022.

Pauline earned her MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work, where she received the Carmen Ortiz Hendrick Award for Excellence in 2020. Her personal music and multimedia work can be found at House of Demeter.
